Human English Teaching Method

At Human English, we believe that each person learns in a different way. That’s why our method is based on personalization, continuous support, and respect for each student’s pace.

1. Initial Diagnostic and Context Session

The first session is dedicated to getting to know the student. In this space, we explore:

  • The reason they want to learn Spanish

  • What they need it for (work, studies, travel, personal growth, etc.)

  • The level they believe they currently have

  • Their confidence when speaking the language (shyness, confidence, blocks)

With this information, at Human English we define clear goals, priorities, and a personalized action plan.

2. Level Assessment

During this stage, a short and engaging diagnostic quiz developed by Human English is applied, designed to identify:

  • The student’s strengths

  • Areas of opportunity

  • Skills and interests that require more focus (speaking, listening, reading, writing)

This evaluation allows us to adapt the content from the very beginning

3. One-on-One Personalized Classes

All classes at Human English are:

  • Individual

  • Conducted via Google Meet

  • Adapted to the student’s level, personality, and pace

We do not work with rigid programs; the content evolves as the student progresses.

4. Tailor-Made Materials

During the classes, we use a combination of:

  • Materials developed by Human English

  • Digital tools and websites for activities and games

  • Online readings to practice pronunciation and comprehension

  • Digital glossaries for specific topics

  • Personalized quizzes

  • Customized assignments

Each resource is selected based on what works best for each student.

5. Ongoing Monitoring and Adaptation

The Human English method is flexible and dynamic.

What works is reinforced, and what doesn’t is adjusted.

The learning pace is set by the student, not by a fixed syllabus.

6. Learning Portfolio

All the material covered is compiled into an individual document for each student.

On a monthly basis, the student receives their learning portfolio, which includes:

  • The materials used during classes (unanswered version)

  • Exercises and resources designed for at-home practice

  • Personalized content to reinforce the topics covered

This portfolio is designed so that the student can study independently, use it as reference material, and keep it for future practice.

7. Person-Centered Learning

At Human English, learning is based on listening, adapting, and supporting.

We create a safe space where each student can progress with confidence and at their own pace.
